Financial Aid

Financial aid is available to eligible families. St. Monica Academy uses Private School Aid Service (www.psas.org.com) to process financial aid applications.  Our school code is 4414.

There are three ways that families may complete the financial aid application:

  • Pick up a paper application from the St. Monica Academy office.
  • Download a pdf of the application here.  You can complete this form directly on your computer screen by placing the cursor at the appropriate fields and typing in the information. Print out the completed form and save a copy to your computer.  (You will need Acrobat 7 or higher to use the interactive features.)
  • Complete the form online at www.psas.org. While this is possible, we do not recommend it as many applicants have had difficulty with the online application.

Once the application is completed, mail it, along with the $21 processing fee in time for it to reach PSAS by the deadline of March 22, 2010, to:

Private School Aid Service
P.O. Box 770728
Lakewood, OH 44107

While we would like to meet all families’ need, please be aware of these important policies and procedures regarding financial aid:

  • No family is guaranteed financial aid.
  • All families must apply for financial aid every year.
  • Please notify the office if you are applying for financial aid. If your application through PSAS is held up for some reason, we may not learn that you have applied until all the funds have been allocated.
  • The deadline for applying for financial aid is March 23, 2009.
  • The only families who are guaranteed to be eligible for consideration are those who apply by the deadline of March 22, 2010.
  • All budgeted financial aid may be distributed to those who apply by the deadline.

In short: If you do not apply by the deadline of March 23, 2009, you risk not receiving any financial aid even if PSAS determines you are eligible.
