Summit and Symposium

DSCF0322 IMG_3014 IMG_2942On Wednesday May 7, the juniors and seniors presented the New World Summit, a series of skits starring characters and events from Renaissance, Modern, and U.S. History. These included inspired performances by Timothy Jagels as Robespierre, Anne Trear as King Henry VIII, and Arthur Halpin as Leonardo da Vinci. On Tuesday May 13, the freshmen and sophomores presented the Old World Symposium, a similar event based on Ancient and Medieval History. Some of the finest performances were James Trear as Augustus Caesar, Eamonn Mireles as Attila the Hun, and Daniela Nieva as St. Francis of Assisi. The New World Summit and Old World Symposium are the culmination of each student’s year-long research project.
