These included the Lincoln-Douglas Debates, performed by Clare Boldt and Sarah Lizarde; Susan B. Anthony’s discourse on Women’s Suffrage, by Elissa Taylor; Chief Joseph Brant’s Surrender Speech, by Mark Delkhaste; Margaret Sanger’s speech on The Chidren’s Era, by Liberty Crisp and Claire McCall; FDR’s First Inaugural Address, by Rebecca Battles; JFK’s summary of the Cuban Missile Crisis, by Charlie Cosgrove; Ronald Reagan’s “A Time for Choosing” speech, by Clement Decker; Martin Luther King’s “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop” address, by Cristina Davis; Spiro Agnew’s critique of Television News Coverage, by Emiliano Freymann and Charles Scott; George Carlin’s “Baseball and Football” comic routine, by Beau Barry and Yamila Evans; and William Bennett’s discourse on Teaching the Virtues, by Ella Cerling.
